Adam Moskow, CMC, Certified Management Consultant, President: Adam is a serial entrepreneur. He formed Entrepreneurial Consulting in 1999. Adam is a Wharton School of Business honors graduate with a degree in Finance. He was Publisher of the leading jewelry arts magazines and websites. In that role, he managed operations, marketing, negotiations, planning, P&L, etc. He hired and directed a staff of 60, reduced costs, helped drive revenue up $5 million -- 400% and increased profits 6-fold. This led to the successful sale of that business of which he was a part owner. Subsequently, Adam bought half of an inbound and outbound telemarketing customer acquisition firm and became COO. He helped turn around that company, land it twice on the Philly 100 for growth and in roughly 3 years profitably sold his interest. From there, he helped run an online advertising agency that twice made the Philly 100 list.
Jon Adler, Associate: Jonathan cut his consulting teeth with Simon-Kucher and Partners in Boston, where he worked primarily in pricing and marketing strategies, focusing on the pharmaceutical, medical products, and software industries. In addition, he played a role in the hiring process at SKP, regularly interviewing and evaluating candidates for positions. He has also worked in media, spending time in sales and marketing at the Philadelphia Weekly, a lifestyle newspaper. He graduated from the Wharton School, where he wrote and contributed to numerous business plans, with a concentration in Entrepreneurial Management.
Karyn Koerwer, CPA, Associate: Karyn provides accounting services ranging from basic bookkeeping to controller level functions for smaller companies on an interim or part-time basis. Her professional background spans 30 years beginning in a “Big Eight” public Accounting firm’s audit department, holding positions in several Fortune 100 companies (including insurance, consumer products and publishing) as well as working with small businesses. She is a graduate of Drexel University.
Jim Shulman, Associate: For more than twenty years, Jim has created successful marketing programs for a wide variety of organizations. His projects have run from vintage automotive tools to Chinese pharmaceutical manufacturing programs; from sole proprietorships to billion dollar organizations; and from simple advice to complex marketing programs spanning years. At present, he works with more than two dozen groups. He has served as board member of the Philadelphia Direct Marketing Association and currently serves on several other boards.
Meredith Landis, Associate: Meredith’s calling is to help businesses with public relations. She is a graduate of Temple University with experience with Clear Channel Radio Sales and Fusion Public Relations, a High Tech PR firm in New York City amongst others. She has helped clients get placement in publications such as the Philadelphia Business Journal, the Philadelphia Inquirer, Computer User Magazine, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal as well as on television. She was named one of the 40 under 40 by Socialphilly.com.
